These days, headshots are such a subjective thing. There are so many different ways to have them done – you have to figure out what style will represent you and your business the best. In many cases, headshots can become more of a business branding session. This is especially true for people in the health, beauty, and creative industries.
In today’s competitive market place what is the one thing that your business has that nobody else does? YOU! The look and feel you present on your website and social media is so important in portraying the correct message to current and potential clients. I can’t tell you how many times I go to a website and the “about” section is devoid of personality, and many times does not even have a photo. When I am looking at potential people and companies to do business with, I like to know the people I am supporting. Often times a good “about” section on a website can sell me on a product or service I didn’t even know I needed. I think people generally like to support people they can relate to or someone who they can see themselves in. If your website doesn’t reflect you and your personality, it is an easy fix! In fact, I know mine could use some work. Off to schedule a headshot session for myself now…
I’m happy to share these recent headshots I did for my friend and stylist, Sara Klimek! She is a talented lady who is a mover and shaker in her industry. You can find her at Salon 10 in Blaine. She is great with fashion colors (isn’t her hair amazing!), but also works magic with those of us who aren’t as brave and don’t get too crazy with their hair. We had a great time doing these photos. Enjoy!
Hey Katie! Perfect timing. I do need a professional headshot! And I was just talking to a colleague about your services, including headshots, and told her I’d get an estimate. Neither of us had a website, but we are both trying to subtly brand and promote ourselves.
It will be fun to work with you again!

Great! I’ll email you, Tracey!
