Kreat & Design by Jessica Boyer

Working with Kreat + Design has been one of my favorite ongoing projects over the past year! I met Jessica my freshman year of college when she lived down the hall from me in Territorial Hall at the University of Minnesota. We were roommates for a few years after that, too. I have so many fun memories with her!

I was so excited when she told me about the new business she was launching, Kreat + Design. In this business, Jessica combined her love of design with her background in therapeutic coaching. Kreat + Design strives to help people create functional and beautiful spaces to live and work. Based in Alexandria, MN, she offers life coaching, home staging, and decluttering services. She is rocking it in her first year of business and is developing a strong brand and portfolio right out of the gate!

Our collaboration

In the past year, we have created environmental portraits, headshots, and business branding photos. I’ve photographed several of the homes she has designed and staged. I also have Jessica to thank for convincing me to pursue my interest in web design. I had been thinking of adding that to my list of services when she initially contacted me about her photography projects. She encouraged me to develop that skill and was willing to be my first client! I’m happy to say I created a custom website design for her that represents her and her brand. I also help create content for her social media accounts.
