JEN CORTEZ – CURL SPECIALIST EXTRAORDINARE!

When Jen opened her salon, Pink Grapefruit, down the hall from my studio a few years ago I was so excited. My studio buidling can feel like a ghost town with people stashed away behind closed doors, so I was excited to have a vibrant business with activity near me.  Jen created a beautiful salon, with an inviting & cozy vibe. Pink Graperfuit is full of color and live plants, and every time I walked by it the beautiful scent of her eco friendly & sustainable products filled the hallway.  In a building full of caterers & coffee roasters (and a former catnip toy making company!) it was a welcome scent!

I recently reached out to her to help me test some of my new backdrops for the studio and she happily obliged.  I wanted to practice creating some branding photos using only some simple props and my paper backdrops in studio.
