I’m so happy to share Angela & Todd’s winter wedding photos from the Bigelow Chapel on my blog! Some people are surprised how popular winter weddings are in Minnesota, but over the years I have photographed several of them. Minnesota winters are beautiful and provide a great backdrop for photos!
When I met Angela and Todd over coffee I knew I was going to have a great time with them. They had planned an intimate Sunday morning wedding ceremony at the Bigelow Chapel in New Brighton. Afterwards, guests headed to a brunch reception at the Aster Cafe at St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis. We lucked out and it was fairly warm out considering it was the middle of January!
I loved everything about this wedding–from the feather bouquets to the Great Gatsby inspired look. I have photographed several weddings at the Bigelow Chapel and I have to say, it is definitely one of my favorite ceremony locations in the Twin Cities. The architecture and the natural light make for some great photos. Enjoy a few photos from the day!

You took some gorgeous wedding photos at our Bigelow Chapel. Is there a possibility you could send us a disk of the photos you think are best from that wedding that feature the chapel – inside and outside – for us to use on our website and other promotional materials? We would love to have some winter wedding photos! We would provide any photo credit you request.
Please let me know. And again, compliments on the photos, they are beautiful!
